hmm, sorry, but unfortunately this site really took a downhill when you post photos of crap movies like that… it started with only great cinematography.. but now.. 🙁
If you can’t recognize why a movie like cabin in the woods would be worth analyzing for cinematography you’ve got blinders on. It might not be Storaro, but it’s a great interpretation of a genre and I was literally grabbing reference frames when I saw this. Get outta here with these comments
Sorry you feel that way, your not going to be a fan of every movie posted (I’m not even a fan) but this site is here to try and accommodate everyone, January was dedicated to films from 2012 February is all older films I hadn’t featured yet. I didn’t even like cabin in the woods but when I put out a call for suggestions on the Facebook page it came up multiple times, Peter demming is a talented dp, and this film is a really interesting example of how horror Circa 2012 looks. If you don’t like what’s featured make some suggestions
