I really need to see this again. Loved it so much when I saw it, and reality TV has EXPLODED since. Does it hold up?
I would say so yes, beneath the layer of very prescient commentary on reality television, theres a really sweet story, and very likable character. Its not an absolute masterpiece by any means but it is a really solid movie
Coming across this and a few The Truman Show essays makes me really want to watch this film again!
